Joomla Permissions on Hostingireland Servers

Joomla is a great fully managed CMS system which enables you to take full control of your website without extensive knowledge of how it all works, due to security settings on our server it is required to tweak the Joomla permissions, here is a quicklist of the changes that need to be made to your account (these can be made using a regular FTP client such as Filezilla)

List of Required Permissions for Joomla

Each of these are directories (they may not all exist, just modify the ones that do) should have their permissions set to 777 and those permissions should be applied to the directory specified and all files and folders inside the directory.
